Is this man human? Or is he really a machine?

When watching Albert go on his latest tear this week you at some point have to just step back and take in what you are witnessing. History. The greatest player of his generation. No one can even talk to me about anyone else. There is no dispute. When Albert was up yesterday with the bases loaded and the Royals were not intentionally passing him, was there any doubt that an HR was imminent? I mean the dude has been on a tear. In the last 10 games he has 8 HR and 17 RBI.

But yesterday we apparently saw something that we haven't seen since the 20s. Someone calling their shot ala Babe Ruth. Albert literally called his shot when he hit his grand slam yesterday. No one at the time knew he did it. It wasn't until Joe Strauss put out his game article on the Cardinals 12-5 victoy that we found out this information. His unbelievable competitive spirit makes it hard to believe he hasn't done this before but this is the first time we are hearing it.
